Nana-Grebizi, CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

25-year-old Monica standing with one of her four children in front of the forest shelter they now live in since fleeing their village, Bamatara, following an attack by armed raiders. This is the fifth time she has had to flee her home and four of these attacks have resulted in her home being looted and burned. In northern Central African Republic an estimated 125,000 people have fled into the forests following attacks by marauding armed groups. The region's poor infrastructure and lack of security means that international humanitarian organisations face a formidable task in supplying aid to the local population.
