73 year old Amalia de Marques is a source of support for many of the relatives of the kidnapped since 1999 - when her son, Enrique Marques, then 30, was kidnapped outside his office in Bogota. During the last decade, the couple has sent him around 2500 messages over the radio program Voices of Kidnapping (Voces del Secuestro). Amalia keeps an address book of all the families she has met over the years with kidnappings in the family. Here, she shows an assortment of letters that she has written to read on the radio, hoping her son is listening.
