A 13-year old Karenni guerrilla standing in front of graffiti, scrawled on a wall in an abandoned Buddhist temple. The teenage fighter joined the resistance after his family and fellow villagers were threatened with forced relocation from their village by the Burma Army. The villagers chose to flee to refugee camps in Thailand. Of these, over 300 young men received military training and joined the Karenni resistance.
