A boy wearing a real bear skin and mask in front of a communist-era block of flats in Piata Sudului in south Bucharest. He is part of a bigger group of 20 youngsters who came from the rural Bacau area (300 km away from Bucharest) to perform the 'Bear Dance', an ancient ritual that symbolises the death and the rebirth of the bear.
