A cowboy transports cattle from John Carter's farm to the Xavante tribe's reserve, a six hour journey on horseback. The cattle were donated by one of John's contacts overseas, with the intention of providing sustainable food for the tribe. They signed a contract (John Carter and the Xavante leader) which stated that the tribe will have to wait until the cattle reproduce and grow in number before they can start killing the animals for food.
