A Dinka child bathes in a bowl of water as a woman packs up her belongings on the day of departure from a camp for displaced persons. From here the displaced Dinka tibespeople will board a barge on the River Nile which will return them to their homeland of Bor. The resettlement programme following the civil war is organised by the IOM (International Organisation for Migration). Tens of thousands of Dinka tribespeople are among the estimated 3.8 million people displaced during the two-decade long conflict between the government and the SPLA (Sudanese People Liberation Army).
