Ramtha, Jordan

A drawing by Samia, eight years old. When she was asked to paint something painful she drew this scene, she was there when all that happened she said, she wrote words like bombs, terrorists, bullets, wounded, explosion, the army shooting a man standing by his house. The Ramtha facility has been opened by the Government of Jordan to receive Syrian refugees. UNICEF is providing psycho-social support for the children in the vicinity. To date more than 300 children have received support including remedial education and psychosocial support.
