A fisherman in the coastal village of Shafarud after an unsuccessful attempt to catch sturgeon. Fishermen say that stocks are so low that it is not unusual for them to go for weeks without catching a fish. The Caspian Sea is considered by most to be the source of the finest caviar in the world, but over-fishing and pollution has led to dwindling fish stocks and a struggling industry.
