A group of farmers working on the site of a cash-for-work scheme, a short-term intervention used by humanitarian assistance organisations to provide temporary employment in public projects, such as repairing roads, clearing debris or re-building infrastructure. The farmers are able to earn some cash during a lull before they are able to harvest.
