Inle Lake, Shan State, Myanmar, BURMA

A 'long-neck' Padaung woman weaves in a tourist shop. Such 'photo-oppportunity' setups are commonplace on the lake. Burma does not see very many tourists, but those that do come tend to stick to a fixed circuit, and Inle Lake is included. There have been calls from the international community for tourists to boycott Burma, as it maintains the country's military junta.
