A man holds a crop of frankincense, hardened sap from the Boswellia tree, which is a native plant in the Surud mountains. The tree's sap is tapped and hardened to form frankincense, also known as olibanum, which is an aromatic resin used widely in religious rites and as a perfume. Somalian Frankincense is considered to be of a very high quality.
