A member of IOM (International Organisation for Migration) surrounded by Dinka children uses a loudpeaker to coordinate displaced persons on the day of departure from a camp. From here the displaced Dinka tibespeople will board a barge on the River Nile which will return them to their homeland of Bor. The resettlement programme following the civil war is organised by the IOM. Tens of thousands of Dinka tribespeople are among the estimated 3.8 million people displaced during the two-decade long conflict between the government and the SPLA (Sudanese People Liberation Army).
