A patient in the ICDDRB hospital, the Bangladeshi Centre for Diarrhoea Disease Research, known as the cholera hospital. During the flooding in July and August 2004, they received more than 300 new patients every day. Monsoon rains caused flooding in 40 of Bangladesh's 64 districts, displacing up to 30 million people and killing several hundred.
