A staff member from Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) crosses a river with a box with drugs. In the Chansolme area MSF organised mobile clinics to provide the population with medical aid.
Three weeks after tropical storm Jeanne hit the north west of Haiti, some districts are still flooded. Over 2700 people were reported dead or missing. Haiti is particularly vulnerable to flooding after heavy rainfall due to intense deforestation.
