A tourist lies with a tiger, at the Pha Luang Ta Bua temple, as head abbot Phra Acharn Phoosit Khantidharo lifts its front paw to place it on top of her head, according to the abbot, a sign of good luck. Also known as the Tiger Temple the head abbot, monks and blue-shirted volunteers have been raising orphaned tigers since 1999 and as a result it has become a popular destination for tourists.
