A tunneller surfaces for a breakfast of fried potatoes at Fort Trollheim, an anti-road protestor's camp on the A30 route between Exeter and Honiton. This camp was built in the summer of 1995 from trees that had already been felled to make way for the A30 road. The camp had 10 foot high battlements and two drawbridge entrances that were feircely guarded, any police or sheriffs officers that came too close were liable to have rotten fruit or eggs thrown at them. The camp was eventually stormed in the middle of the night on 14 January 1997 by riot police. Most activists had time to lock on to concrete barrels either above or below ground and the eviction lasted 18 hours.
