A view of the hull of the clipper ship Cutty Sark. Built in 1869 and once one of the fastest clippers to ply the tea and wool trade routes to Asia and Australia, it was badly damaged by fire on 21 May 2007. The ship and the site where it stands, in Greenwich, South London, were redeveloped and reopened in 25 April 2012. The ship is docked over an area enclosed by glass that allows visitors to see the hull from below. This space also contains a museum and shop.
