A vigil for dead train surfer Logan Kagiso Nthutang, who died just before his 15th birthday. Here his aunts Lerato (right) and Lorraine Nthutang (left, in green) view his body. While this was happening another train surfer was killed in Mapetla. The train surfers had earlier said that they would ride in honour of Logan. Train surfing, also known as staff riding, is a popular but dangerous pursuit amongst teenage boys in Soweto. In 2006, at least ten young men were killed performing stunts on moving trains, and many more injured.
