Berlin, GERMANY

An exhibit showing a sign which says if a comrade enters a room they should say 'Heil Hitler' and salute, next to a photograph of people saluting, at the exhibition Hitler and the Germans, Nation and Crime at the German Historical Museum in Berlin. The exhibition seeks to answer the question of why so many Germans chose to follow Adolf Hitler and his fascist ideology so devotedly despite the horrors of World War II (WW2) and the Holocaust.
