Ana Lucia Rodrigues do Nascimento, a resident of Quilombo Ipiranga, cools off in a freshwater spring. The community are mostly descendants of escaped slaves and consists of about 120 families and was recognised as a quilombo (escaped slave) settlement in 2006.
