Cars that were being held in police custody destroyed during the attack on the police station. A boy shows used rounds of ammunition. On 17 February the country saw the beginnings of a revolution against the ruling Col Muammar Al Gaddafi. Rebels now seem to control Tobruk after a pivotal attack on the city's police station. In total between 150 and 200 civilians have been killed in violence during the uprising in this area alone.
