Chunda Charity, 30, who has a cataract, lies on a bed at St Paul's Eye Hospital where she'll receive surgery to restore her sight. She says: 'I was told to come by the community. The problem started five months ago. I can walk but I can't see clearly, I'm not free. I work in a restaurant and it has become hard. I am happy and fine now. I never expected that the eye would see again. I am so surprised! I can't wait for the eye to heal properly. I want to be doing all the things I couldn't, like a walk in the sun! I will be able to go to work in the restaurant without pain.'
