Dildre Santos Azevedo: Dildre is a tax analyst, and was born in Leopoldina, Minas Gerais. Feisty Dildre is not only crazy about her tattoos, but she also finds her black identity more important each day. She has had her voluminous afro hairstyle for a year. In Brazil, she says, people have to indicate their skin colour when they fill out documents. 'While the government currently uses five basic categories, black people used to find a range of non-existent colour categories just so they didnŐt have to say 'black' - pardo, of course, let's say brown, or cafe com leite. This is changing. Afro-Brazilians can at last say what they are.'
