Habiba Dahir Muse sits with two of her children who are recovering from diphtheria in Galcayo's hospital. Two of her daughters died from the condition and following their funeral she travelled with her sons about 100 miles to get to the hospital. The journey, by bus, was paid for by members of her clan. Galcayo is a town in the self-declared autonomous state of Puntland. The populace in the region suffers from a litany of problems including conflict, drought, malnutrition and associated illnesses.
