In a Primary Health Centre in Kutapalong Rohingya refugee camp 18, volunteer Nur-E-Jannat (18) helps Najuna and her young family receive the treatment needed, by making sure that their immunisations are carried out on schedule. But more importantly Nur-E-Jannat teaches Najuna and the family the health benefits available at the local UNICEF partner's health centre. In the refugee camps, a network of Public Health Centres now provide round-the-clock routine maternal and neonatal care. The focus now is on persuading mothers to make use of the expanded services, undertaking their full quota of antenatal check-ups and delivering their babies under proper medical supervision.
