Inuit (Eskimo) artefacts collected by Dr Rick Knect of the University of Aberdeen from fieldwork at Quinhagak in western Alaska. Items include walrus ivory rings, caribou harpoon points and driftwood ceremonial dolls. They were found at the 'Nunalleq' site, aka 'Old Village', which was a winter village used between 1350- 1650 CE. Now melting permafrost and storms have begun eroding the coastal site prompting an urgent need to dig the site.
