Jack and Rose Wiley and their family who abandoned their flooded home in the Gulf Coast, are temporarily housed in the Forrest County Multi-Purpose Centre, which has been designated a Red Cross shelter in the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina. The hurricane struck the Gulf Coast in August 2005, causing an estimated $75 billion in damages and becoming the costliest hurricane in the history of the United States.
