Kurdish people paying their respects to their great leader, Mullah Mustafa Barzani. Barzani was the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the 1970s. He died in exile in Washington DC in 1979, and was buried in Ashnoviya in Kurdistan-Iran. On the 15th anniversary of his death, over a million people took part in a mass memorial as his body was moved to Barzan, the village where he was born. Kurdistan.
