Bor, SUDAN

Members of IOM (International Organisation for Migration) staff coordinate Dinka women and children as they disembark a barge after a two-day long journey returning displaced persons after the civil war. They have travelled from Juba to their homeland of Bor as part of a resettlement programme which is organised by the IOM. Tens of thousands of Dinka tribespeople are among the estimated 3.8 million people displaced during the two-decade long conflict between the government and the SPLA (Sudanese People Liberation Army).
