Men collecting sap from the Boswellia tree on the slopes of the Surud mountains, where it grows as a native plant. The tree's sap is tapped and hardened to form frankincense, also known as olibanum, which is an aromatic resin used widely in religious rites and as a perfume. Somalian Frankincense is considered to be of a very high quality.
