Mr Matouci in his flat in Lunik IX, a decrepit housing complex almost entirely populated by Roma. Living conditions are very bad and many people do not have electricity, water or gas. He says: 'I worked for 37 years and got educated under the totalitarian regime where everybody had to work. Nowadays nobody likes to give us work because of the color of our skin. Since the Velvet Revolution 1989 none of the governments we have had have tried to solve the Roma issue.'
