Muslim man with a bicycle outside the Shah Jehan Mosque, the first purpose-built mosque in Britain. Designed by the Victorian architect WL Chambers, it was built in 1889 to serve Muslim students at a nearby college and financed by the Indian ruler Begum Shah Jehan.
