Naked revellers swimming in a lake while participating in a pagan ritual during celebrations for the Midsummer Festival. The men, holding burning torches to symbolise the sun, set fire to a wooden raft around 1am and carry it to a small lake. The celebrations, which mark the longest day (and shortest night) of the year, are organised around the summer solstice and usually take place between the 21st and 23rd June.
