Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

Noor Kalima (10) and her mother Dilder Begum are the only survivors, from a family of six, of the Tula Toli massacre, a mass-killing of Rohingya during a Myanmar Army led clearance operation at the village of Tula Toli (Min Gyi) in the Rakhine State, close to the border with Bangladesh.
Noor's scars were left by the machetes of Myanmar soldiers. She witnessed two of her siblings being killed by the soldiers before she and her mother fled to the border.
