Novice Buddhist monk on the bridge leading to the western wall of Angkor Wat, a temple built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Originally built in honour of the Hindu gods Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu, the temple was later dedicated to Buddhism.
