Passengers storing their luggage finding seats in preparation for the 60 hour train journey on the Chengdu to Urumqi train. Every year millions of rural dwellers migrate to cities seeking work in order to send wages back to support their families. They return to their communities for a family reunion once a year to celebrate Chinese New Year together.
