President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad waves from his armoured Nissan jeep with gun-carrying bodyguards hanging on to all sides of the car, as he is driven to deliver a speech in the central Iranian town of Isfahan (Esfahan). On each trip he makes, Mr Ahmadinejad is accompanied by up to 100 bodyguards as he claims that Western intelligence organizations are planning to assassinate him.
