Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom

Scotland's largest city Glasgow lies in the Clyde Valley, backed by hills and further north, Loch Lomond National Park across the highland boundary fault. The name Glasgow is a gaelic phrase meaning 'dear green place' or 'green hollow'. In the centre of the image is the University of Glasgow, designed in the Victorian 'Gothic Revival' style by Sir George Gilbert Scott.
