Students are standing in a school garden holding singboards on which names of vegetables are written such as tomatoes and onions. This is part of a healthy learning project which the Matonyok Primary School near Narok has launched in collaboration with the Belgian Flemish Association for Development Cooperation and Technical Assistance (VVOB). The vegetables are used in the school kitchen in order to prepare nutritious meals for the students. This is a way to fight malnutrition in one of the pourest areas of Kenya.
