Susan with Frank, one of the five grandchildren she takes care of. She has seen three of her own children die of AIDS, including Frank's mother. Frank, 6, is himself seropositive for the AIDS virus. He has already lost both his parents and an older sister, Queen, who died of AIDS at the age of ten.
