Minsk, BELARUS

Svetlana Kalinkina, editor in chief of 'Narodnaya Volya', the country's largest independent newspaper. Its name, which translates as 'People's Will', comes from a 19th century Russian revolutionary group. The authorities have forced the paper to be printed abroad, and it is now distributed in blank, brown paper envelopes to prevent it being intercepted.
