Ten year old Faisal from Makniat village gets treated for an infection and jaw fracture at an army medical post, having been injured by the earthquake which struck Pakistani-administered Kashmir on 08/10/2005. About 90% of homesteads in this remote valley were left uninhabitable, with the residents facing a harsh winter. At least 40,000 people were killed by the 7.6 magnitude earthquake.
