The Five Story Pagoda (Kofukuji Temple), a part of the Nara Temple Complex, silhouetted against the evening sky. At 50 metres the five story wooden pagoda is Japan's second tallest. It was first constructed in the Eighth Century, although the current building was rebuilt in 1426.
