The Gonzalez sisters, Susana, Isabel, Lala and Belen, looking at the storm battered rocks on the coast of Baiona from where they collect percebes (Goose barnacles), a luxury seafood item. The dangerous business of harvesting percebes for sale generates millons of Euros each year in Spain, providing a livelihood for many families. Although tightly regulated due to the economic crisis many people have been attracted to illegally poaching the crustaceans creating an unsustainable strain on the natural resource.
