The internal courtyards and minaret of the city's Friday mosque, whose mud rendering is supported by sticks protruding from its facade, characteristic of adobe architecture. Adobe is a natural building material made from clay and straw and is one of the oldest and most traditional methods of construction used widely in North Africa.
