The right wing Ijzerwake Flemish youth movement NSV take part in a parade during IJzerbedevaart (Pilgrimage of the Yser). As well as being a yearly event to remember the Flemish soldiers who died during World War One (WWI), the pilgrimage serves as a meeting for right wing Flemish nationalists striving for Flemish political autonomy. Most of the participants are members of the Vlaams Blok (Vlaams Belang) political party.
