The Supreme Court Malgorzata Gersdorf walks to the podium in the Sejm, Poland's parliament, to make a speech. Gersdorf (65) is opposing a law, passed in January 2018 by the ruling Law and Justice Party (PiS), which lowered the age of retirement for Supreme Court Judges from 70 to 65, forcing many of them to apply to President Duda to be allowed to continue their judicial service.
