Travellers walk past a sign erected by PAD (People's Alliance for Democracy) supporters apologising for the inconvenience caused by their mass protest against the ruling government at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The week-long protests brought all air traffic to a halt, and on 02/12/2008, Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat resigned and the Constitutional Court dissolved the three parties of the government coalition on the grounds of electoral fraud, marking a victory for the PAD.
