Auckland, NEW ZEALAND

Tuvaluan immigrants to New Zealand - 14 of them - cram into one house. It is common for several families, often related, to share one house, sometimes temporarily while they search for work and somewhere to stay. The tiny Pacific Island nation of Tuvalu is one of the few places in the world already experiencing the devastating effects of climate change and global warming. Due to the rising sea level, erosion, and extreme weather events, the island nation is shrinking and may eventually disappear.
