Twenty year old Rahika Gagere sits in tears with her son Ado at a Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) feeding centre. He is 11 months old but weighed just over four kilos when his mother bought him in. After a week he gained half a kilo, but like many other children at the centre, diarrhoea, malaria and lung infections are taking their toll on him. Rahika was around ten years old when she got married but her husband has divorced her because he believed she gave birth to frail children. She has given birth to nine children but eight of them have died.
